Well, spring is the theme of this weeks card challenge at Scrapbook Sisters but it really doesn’t feel much like spring in this corner of England after a few slightly warmer days we seem to have returned to winter. I am really looking forward to some warmer sunshiny days.
I decided to make my card using clean fresh greens to make my spring card.
I cut an green oval and larger white oval shape on the Cricut and then stamped on the green card which is unusual for me as I usually stamp onto white or cream. I rummaged in my stash for my gel pens which were my favourite colouring materials before Copics and coloured the image with white, a sparkly green and a olive green. I have no idea where the stamp is from – I have a feeling that it may have been a impulse eBay purchase but I don’t know who the manufacturer is. I used a Fiskars border punch and a piece of green gingham ribbon. The finishing touch was the Sizzlet die cuts in the corners.
If you would like to enter the card challenge have a look at the Scrapbook Sisters Blog for the chance to be entered in the draw for some lovely digi stamps.
