Over the Edge

Here is my card for this weeks challenge at Scrapbook Sisters and the theme is over the edge.011

Unusually for me I had this card planned out before I started – usually it comes together as I start making it! I have used stamps which Gayle Bond designed for Scrapbook Sisters last year.

To make the base I used a circle template to make the semi circle and then trimmed an A6 card card to fit behind with a layer of acetate in between. I covered the front of the card with a Dream Street Papers snowflake paper.  The images were all stamped onto white card and then coloured with Copics. After I cut them out I used the Copics again around the edge to get rid of the white edge. Once I stuck them onto the card I added Liquid Pearls along the bottom edge, Stickles on the trees and Glamour Dust on the snowman's hat and around the curve of the card. Lastly I added the Santa and sleigh which I cut on the Cricut to the acetate at the top and then trimmed around.

So what’s your take on “over the edge”? – it’s easy to enter the challenge . Even if you don’t have a blog you can email a photo to the shop and Karen and Julie will add you to the challenge. There is also the chance to win some fab digital stamps from Gayle.
