I absolutely love beach huts and would dearly love to own my own one at Whitstable. I love to go for walks by the sea and it usually involves looking at the beach huts and trying to decide which one I would have if I had the odd £20,000 knocking around!
When I saw that Dan at My Crafty Life had produced a bird house template I knew that I wanted to make a little beach hut version. I used off cuts of paper and charms and buttons from my stash, The bird itself is a Maya Road chipboard bird covered in Basic Grey of course.
Have you spotted my cat Thomas trying to get his paws on that little birdie?

This is lovely Jeannie. You've just taken your first step on the beach hut ladder. Now all you need to do is upsize every few months and you might get your beach hut at Whitstable:)
I love this Jeannie, just fabulous I want one!! may have a go myself xx
Hi Jeannie, have just found your blog and I love all of your creations! Especially this little beach hut, it is stunning! I have always wanted one too, why are they so expensive??? Look forward to seeing what you make next, Heidi xxx

It's gorgeous Jeannie and I love all the embellishments and colours too.
Pity you can't just build your own beach hut and it wouldn't cost 20 grand! Blimey, lol. You could always get Martin to build you one in the garden??!
Love Roz x
Great job!! I'm so glad you found my template useful! :)
