A Few Cards........

Here are a couple of cards that I have made recently. The first one was for Holly's birthday. I stamped the background using Basic Grey stamps onto black cardstock. I cut an ice skating boot using the Cricut and mounted it on to black cordinations cardstock which I sanded back to show the white core. The second card was made by me for Matthew to give to Holly and is one of my favourite cards at the moment. I stamped a branch from a Basic Grey set and then stamped birds over the top. I then stamped the birds agaon on an offcut of Basic Grey paper and cut them out and added them over the stamped image.

This third card was made for Martin on our anniversary. I took inspiration from Gayle Bond (card designer at Scrapbook Sisters) and used a House Mouse stamp and of course some more Basic Grey papers (have you noticed a recurring theme here!)

I made this valentines card for a challenge on The Scrapbook Sisters Forum recently and I was voted first and received a lovely set of PaperArtsy stamps - thank you Julie and Karen.

And lastly I am very pleased to say that I have my first work published, a mothers day card, in a new magazine called Creative Cardmaking. The magazine is only available in craft shops and has some great free papers in it. Here is a peek........

Bo Bunny Travel Word Book

I started this word book at a Scrapbook Sisters class back before last summer and I have only recently finished it. We didn't travel very far, only to Somerset but the book was a fun project.

Snow Pictures

Yesterday as we drove past Gillingham Park we noticed lots of huge snowballs across the park . They reminded me of the Golf Balls (Early Warning System) on the moors in Yorkshire so I popped back this morning to take some photos.
